Ideally I would give this hotel a 2.5/5 but have rounded down. I returned today from a solo 5 night stay in a small double (single occupancy). Here are the pros and cons as I experienced them. Positives: Location is really excellent. Super close and easy to CDG airport. I only used metro/RER a couple of times as I could walk almost everywhere I wanted. Magenta Boulevard has lots of great bakeries / food places and a Monoprix close by so very convenient. Beds are very comfy. Staff at front desk are friendly, helpful and courteous. Shower - small but great temperature and water pressure Negatives: I was genuinely scared to stay here after reading reviews of people having their things stolen from rooms, so I locked my valuable in my suitcase every day when leaving the room. This seemed to do the trick (there is a safe provided which is good, but obviously larger items like laptops don't fit in there) I asked in advance for a quiet room. My room was the noisiest hotel room I've ever stayed in - the noise outside from the road was fairly constant, but also the walls are paper thin. You can hear people banging doors, talking in their rooms etc. And apparently this was a "quiet" room (third floor). Aspects of the rooms are falling apart (on one day I returned and the dado rail across several walls had fallen off - I explained to the reception that it didn't bother me as such, but when the hotel hold a deposit for your room and then bits are just falling apart, again it makes me feel wary) The corridors are genuinely horrendously damaged (I'd read this before and yet in reality they are really poorly maintained) There were a number of long black hairs in the bed when I arrived. The bathroom absolutely stank of damp due to no ventilation, I aired it during my stay by propping the door open and having windows open, but honestly, not really my job Overall I enjoyed my stay (half the nights I slept ok, the other half not due to noise) and once the anxiety about the security has subsided slightly, but I wouldn't stay again and honestly couldn't recommend it for anything other than maybe 1 night (when you don't actually care about sleeping).

10/10 i am currently still staying in the hotel and couldn't wait to write my review, due to some negative comments i was a bit scared but honestly my stay has been only positive till now i asked for a lighter tone of room and its arranged, people comment That the rooms are "small" first of all they give the description of the rooms and seize for the price i paid it was more than perfect the rooms were very clean and cosy the location is top its near the station very easy access to metro the staff has been only lovely I checked in with the night shift was such a lovely young man very helpful and kind so are the other staff people make comments about noise well your in paris what do you expect sea side and mountains? You can request a quite room and the hotel arrange it for you till now everything has been perfect for the price i am paying its more then what i expected definitely coming back again ☺️

Great place! Great staff! Excellent continental breakfast choices available! Within minutes of Paris Gare du Nord station and very easy to navigate all areas of Paris from this location. Walk to Notre Dame and Châtelet area within 40 minutes of this hotel. Metro station only a few minutes walk away as well. Book to stay at either this hotel or the Avalon Apartments section which is on the same site. Thank you to all the staff for their welcome and assistance during our 5 night stay - we loved staying at your hotel.

BEWARE. Had my passport, cash and car keys stolen from my room. No support from management Location is convenient but not worth the risk. The hotel is run down. carpets in the halls are very dirty May seem a reasonable price and location but not safe.

Definitely do NOT recommend this hotel. First of all, the security problem. There was one day when we were still in the hotel room at four o'clock in the afternoon, and suddenly a staff knocked on the door and asked if anyone was inside. When we opened the door, we found that she was not a cleaning staff, and as soon as we opened the door, she hid on the stairs and explained that she was just checking the rooms. Check what? Check if there were people in this room or not around this time? This behaviour is very suspicious. She might be checking if anyone was inside and then unlocked the door herself. We did meet the ‘real’ cleaning staff one day, and her attitude was very indifferent and rude. Secondly, this hotel is super shabby. When I checked in, I wondered if this hotel was more than 100 years old, but I found out that it was built in 198x. Thirdly, the sound insulation is super poor. Fourthly, the area nearby is not safe. 非常不建議這家酒店。首先有一天我們下午四點仍然在酒店，突然有女服務員敲門問有沒有人在裡面，打開門後發現她不是清潔人員，而且一打開門她就躲到樓梯那邊解釋說只是在查房，查什麼房？查什麼時間這間房有人沒人？這種行為非常可疑，有可能在看有沒有人在裡面然後自己開鎖進來，有一次遇到真的清潔人員，她的態度也非常冷淡和沒禮貌。第二，這家酒店超級老舊，我入住時還在想這家酒店是不是有100多年歷史，結果一查198x年才建成。第三，隔音相當差。第四，附近治安不好。
